The Position We are excited to be hiring a Senior Counsel, Commercial Litigation and Investigations, Global Legal Pharma . The position is based at Genentech in South San Francisco. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Global Commercial Litigation and Investigations. It is a high-impact role with significant visibility across the business, leading and supporting worldwide commercial litigation and the defense of government enforcement actions. The Opportunity Leading and managing an active and varied caseload of commercial litigations and/or government investigations, appeals, and other adversarial proceedings, while advising on substantive legal strategy with creativity, vision and appropriate risk tolerance. Partnering closely with and advising business clients and legal department colleagues on a broad range of high-impact, strategic issues using a practical and business-minded approach. Developing strategies to advance, avoid or resolve regional, national, and international disputes, including directly negotiating settlements.
