About Us The Apartment Source is a leading Chicago real estate brokerage specializing in apartment rentals, sales, and multifamily real estate. We are looking for a creative, charismatic, and highly organized Social Media Content Coordinator to help grow our digital presence through engaging, short-form content. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys exploring Chicago, touring properties, working with people, and turning ideas into content that captures attention. Job Summary The Social Media Content Coordinator will create and manage content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You will work closely with our marketing team, leasing agents, and company leadership to coordinate property tours, capture company events, engage with our audience, and support an organized content strategy. The ideal candidate is comfortable filming and editing content, writing engaging captions, staying current with social media trends, and managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Create, film, and edit 3-4 short-form videos per week for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Write engaging captions and social copy that reflect The Apartment Source brand. Manage social media engagement by responding to comments, direct messages, and inquiries professionally and promptly. Coordinate property tours and content shoots with leasing agents and other departments. Assist with planning, organizing, and scheduling the social media content calendar. Organize and maintain photo and video assets for future use. Track social media performance and report on key metrics and content trends. Stay current on platform updates, social media trends, and content best practices. Attend company, property, and networking events to capture content as needed. Identify new content ideas that showcase our listings, agents, company culture, and expertise in Chicago real estate. Qualifications At least two years of professional experience in social media management or content creation. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including current trends and engagement strategies. Comfortable appearing on camera or directing others on camera when needed. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and balance multiple projects. Creative, organized, dependable, and willing to take initiative. Experience using video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar platforms. Must be located in Chicago and able to travel independently throughout the city. Additional Information Part-time position requiring approximately 20–25 hours per week.
