What You'll Do:

• Perform complex account reconciliations, financial data analysis, and variance investigations using cost tracing and root-cause analysis.
• Prepare and distribute financial, statistical, and cash flow reports to support budgeting, debt, and rate planning.
• Conduct technical accounting research, develop position papers, and recommend policies and procedures aligned with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation, maintain financial dashboards, and monitor benchmarks, ratios, and performance trends.
• Evaluate and improve financial processes by updating desktop procedures, developing process documentation, and supporting cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance or Accounting or Auditing.
• 2+ years of experience with program/project management for Operational Units.

• Ability to work in a team environment, coordinating with other areas to achieve goals and objectives.

• Initiative to work independently or as a member of a team, coordinating with others to achieve desired results.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for interaction with all levels of personnel.
• Ability to meet goals and objectives with minimal direct supervision.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to make recommendations and independent decisions.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, email, and scheduling.
• Experience as a financial/analyst in the field, supporting and providing technical and analytical solutions.
• Experience with SAP, PeopleSoft, or Hyperion.

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
• Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events.
• Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
• Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are needed only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
