Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Nashville, TN . The ideal candidate must have strong experience with Broadcom Automic OneAutomation platform installation, configuration, and workload migration, along with expertise in enterprise batch scheduling, workload automation, and migration execution.

Rate Range: $72/hour to $76/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Install, configure, and maintain Broadcom Automic OneAutomation platform components across development, test, and production environments.
• Configure agents, execution queues, calendars, notifications, variables, security roles, and workload scheduling objects.
• Analyze and assess existing workload automation environments, including jobs, workflows, dependencies, calendars, and recovery mechanisms.
• Develop migration strategies, application onboarding plans, and workload transition roadmaps.
• Execute end-to-end migrations of jobs, workflows, scheduling objects, calendars, and automation assets from legacy OneAutomation environments to target platforms.
• Validate workload dependencies, scheduling requirements, operational readiness, and application integrations throughout migration activities.
• Develop and execute migration testing strategies, including functional, integration, operational, and user validation testing.
• Troubleshoot scheduling issues, workflow failures, dependency conflicts, and platform integration challenges.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  
  • Broadcom Automic OneAutomation, Workload Automation Platforms, Batch Scheduling Solutions, Enterprise Migration Programs.
• Proven experience:
  
  • Installing and configuring Automic OneAutomation environments.
  • Migrating jobs, workflows, calendars, and scheduling objects.
  • Supporting enterprise workload automation platforms.
  • Performing production cutovers and migration initiatives.
• Strong understanding of:
  
  • Enterprise Batch Processing, Workload Automation Concepts, Application Onboarding Processes, Scheduling Architectures.
• Experience working within:
  
  • Linux Environments, Windows Server Environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting:
  
  • Divestitures, Carve-Out Projects, TSA Exit Programs, Enterprise Separation Initiatives.
• Knowledge of logistics, transportation, supply chain, or large-scale enterprise operations.
• Experience with:
  
  • Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Python, Automation Tooling.
• Familiarity with:
  
  • CI/CD Pipelines, DevOps Practices, Enterprise Automation Frameworks.
• Experience supporting highly regulated enterprise environments.

Pay Details: $72.00 to $76.00 per hour
