Survey Project Manager – Virginia Beach, VA
A well-established engineering and land surveying firm is seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to lead a variety of boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and utility surveying projects throughout the Hampton Roads region. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to manage projects, mentor teams, and build lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage survey projects from proposal through final delivery
- Oversee field crews and office staff
- Review boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and client communications
- Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards
- Support business development and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of land surveying experience with project management responsibilities
- Virginia Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred or ability to obtain through reciprocity
- Strong knowledge of boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveying
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
