Job Summary
We are hiring a Sr. Automation Engineer supporting a highly automated manufacturing environment within the medical device industry . This is a hands-on engineering role focused on controls, robotics, automation troubleshooting, and production equipment reliability.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot automated manufacturing and controls systems.
- Support recovery, reconfiguration, programming, and troubleshooting of industrial robots.
- Work with 6-axis robotic systems and other industrial automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot and modify Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ladder Logic.
- Diagnose equipment issues impacting production and equipment reliability.
- Support machine vision and camera-integrated processes.
- Assist with robotic component repair, replacement, and optimization.
- Support automation improvements and robot programming modifications.
- Provide occasional on-call or weekend support as required.
- Strong controls engineering and hands-on automation troubleshooting experience.
- Industrial robotics experience.
- Robot programming, recovery, and troubleshooting experience.
- Allen-Bradley PLC experience.
- Ladder Logic programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working in automated manufacturing environments.
- Machine vision and camera integration experience.
- Experience with robotic component repair and replacement.
- Automation system optimization experience.
- Experience in medical device or other regulated manufacturing environments.
