Requirements

• Required certification: ICU
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years Critical Care experience preferred (will consider strong candidates with less than 3 years) 2. Cases: Strong neuro experience required (post-neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke), Vents, IV drip titration, Telemetry monitoring, Conscious Sedation, Dysrhythmia and emergency management 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required via American Heart Association; NIHSS required 4. License: VA or Compact License in hand at time of submittal - no exceptions 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Must be EPIC proficient, no exceptions 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 OR 4x12 (OT billed after 48 on 4x12), nights, weekdays, EOW, Float, Holidays within contract 8. RTO: Required with submission, will be reviewed and approved on a per case basis 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: No RN candidates accepted if they reside less than 50 miles from facility. Drivers License must be provided for address verification prior to any offer acceptance 11. Background: Will not consider ANY license or background hits. Any history of hits will eliminate candidate from consideration. No exceptions 12. Modules: 3 hours of modules required, billable, completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed 16. Special Equipment: Patient ratios 1:2-3. Must be willing to float to Stepdown Unit. May also be floated to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU patients being held Critical: EKG Testing required with 80% pass rate minimum (one attempt only, no remediation). Facility cannot accommodate PAPR - any fit test issues eliminate candidate. Qualivis Submission Form and current NURSYS report required on all submissions.
