Kforce is partnering with a growing, high-performing client in Phoenix, AZ to add a Senior Financial Analyst focused on operational finance.Overview:This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of finance and the business, supporting key operational leaders with actionable insights, financial modeling, and performance analysis that directly impact decision-making.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys getting out of the traditional FP&A silo and working closely with operations to drive efficiency, optimize costs, and influence strategy.Key Tasks:

• Serve as a strategic business partner to operations, helping translate financial data into meaningful insights
• Own key aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with a strong emphasis on operational performance (KPIs, productivity metrics, cost drivers)
• Build and refine financial models to support pricing, resource allocation, and margin optimization, while also identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership across operations, finance, and executive teams, ensuring alignment between financial goals and day-to-day execution
• Plays a key part in ad hoc analysis, helping leadership evaluate new initiatives, investments, and business changes with a data-driven approach

Skills

• We are seeking someone who combines strong technical finance skills with business acumen and communication ability
• Should be comfortable working with large data sets, building models from the ground up, and telling a clear story with numbers
• A typical background would include several years of experience in FP&A, operational finance, or a hybrid role, with exposure to working closely with non-finance stakeholders
• Advanced Excel skills are essential, and experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or ERP systems is highly valued
• Just as important, you bring a proactive mindset-you ask questions, challenge assumptions, and look for ways to drive impact beyond reporting

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
