MAD Greens Team MemberMAD Greens Team Member is enthusiastic and passionate about providing guests with the best hospitality experience possible. This position is suited for someone who enjoys working with the public and internal Team Members. Driving the MAD Greens culture of having fun and contributing to the collaborative spirit of the team is exactly what this position calls for!Responsibilities:Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcomeTake guests' food orders and handle cash and credit transactionsFollow MAD Greens operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shiftDemonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu itemsMake the availability of fresh ingredients possible on a daily basis.Cut, slice vegetables and fruits and store them properly.Rotate food items in cold storage and trash any expired items.Sort, chop, and store food items that need to be used for cooking purposesServe food to guests in a courteous and timely mannerQuickly and accurately prepare food items.Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipmentMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensures proper set up and/or breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areasEffectively handle guest concerns and complaintsWork as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shiftActs with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of MAD GreensMaintains regular and consistent attendance and punctualityContributes to a positive team environmentRequirements:Excellent guest service skills required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for up to 8+ hours per shift.Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic.Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.Ability to work with sharp kitchen tools when in a prep position.Aligned with our core values: MADNESS MATTERS: YOU BE YOU, MADOCRACY: SHOULDER TO SHOULDER, MAD PASSION: WE BLEEP GREEN, MADFETTI: HAVE WORK AT FUN (WE'LL EXPLAIN MORE DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS!)Work schedule:Weekend availabilityMonday to FridaySupplemental pay:TipsBenefits:Flexible schedulePaid time offHealth insurance401(k)Disability insurancePaid training
