HVAC Refrig. Mechanic Requisition Number: 9831 Pay Range: $26.54 - $44.18 per hour Location: CHA Cambridge Hospital Work Days: 2:00pm-10:00pm & 10:00pm-6:00am, Rotating Weekend & Holidays Category: Service and Trade Department: Repairs and Maintenance CH Job Type: Full time Work Shift: Evening / Night Hours/Week: 40.00 Union Name: Local 877 Operating Engineers Department Summary The Repairs and Maintenance department supports the safety and continuous daily operations by providing routine maintenance, inspections, alterations and repairs throughout the hospital. Job Summary Performs diversified installation, operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair duties for the following systems: Heating; Ventilation; Air conditioning; Refrigeration; Related control systems. Responds to calls from hospital departments requesting immediate assistance for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration problems. Is able to work independently to make adjustments and repairs to mechanical system to provide the proper environment for the facility. Receives work instruction from HVAC Forman. Responsibilities Diversified installation Operation Inspection Preventive maintenance Repair duties for Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning, Refrigeration, and Related control systems Receives work instruction from HVAC Forman. Certifications Certification from HVAC trade school or equivalent (such as military training) Work Experience Experienced HVAC Mechanic/Technician with experience in building maintenance operations.
