Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, staff, and families
• Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to the evolving needs of a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist Speech-Language Pathologists with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct support to students as outlined in therapy goals, both individually and in small groups
• Document student progress and prepare reports for review by supervising SLPs
• Prepare instructional materials and activities to support speech and language development
• Participate in team meetings and trainings as required
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all student interactions
