Lead Bartender

Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, highly organized, and creative Lead Bartender to join our leadership team! As a crucial leader behind the bar, you will set the standard for drink quality, hospitality, and overall bar efficiency.
In this role, you will partner directly with Devon (who oversees the administrative side of our bar management) to keep our beverage program running seamlessly. This is a unique opportunity to blend your mixology passion with operational leadership, as you will also be cross-trained to step in as a Manager on Duty (MOD).

Key Responsibilities
• Behind-the-Bar Leadership: Maintain high standards for drink accuracy, speed of service, and guest satisfaction. Ensure all opening/closing sidework is completed thoroughly.
• Bar Organization & Standards: Take ownership of the physical bar space. Establish and maintain strict organization systems for back bar displays, speed rails, garnishes, glassware, and storage areas to ensure a clean, efficient workspace.
• Creative Freedom: Lead the charge on our monthly cocktail program, bringing fresh, creative ideas to our drink menu.
• Inventory & Ordering: Manage beer and wine ordering, oversee regular inventory responsibilities, and keep stockroom areas meticulously organized.
• Manager on Duty (MOD) Support: Cross-train as an MOD to act as our primary backup manager, stepping in to lead the floor when a salaried manager is unavailable.

• Proven experience in high-volume bartending with a strong foundation in craft cocktails, beer, and wine.
• Natural leadership abilities with a passion for structure, cleanliness, and bar organization.
• A collaborative approach, ready to work hand-in-hand with Devon and the management team.
• Flexibility and problem-solving skills to confidently step into floor-management situations.
