Job Type: Contract About the Outsourced Accounting & Advisory Services Team Outsourced Accounting & Advisory Services is a highly specialized, organized team of chief financial officers, controllers, senior accountants, and bookkeeping specialists with years of experience working with small to mid‑sized organizations, for‑profit and non‑profit. It provides a comprehensive blend of services that accomplish our clients' daily accounting needs while working towards a corporate financial goal and mission. About our Consulting Controller/Chief Financial Officer Roles Our Controllers and CFOs will work to fulfill the high‑level needs of our clients, including daily accounting functions, reporting and implementation of processes and procedures. Some key areas include: Enhancing systems and driving innovation to improve efficiency. Providing advisory‑level support through financial statement preparation and analysis. Revamping financial processes and procedures to optimize operations. Developing and implementing structured month‑end close processes. These are hybrid opportunities that require on‑site client work with clients located in the Capital District and Hudson Valley areas of New York. Ideal Candidates Will Have: Hands‑on experience in financial operations, beyond traditional accounting tasks. Expertise in financial statement forecasting and cash flow projections. Familiarity with audit preparation and best practices. Strong project management, problem‑solving, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
