What does Deal Management bring to Cardinal Health Revenue Management is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. The group uses modeling, analytics, and econometrics to create pricing strategies for our products and services. Deal Management owns the entire pre-deal process, including collaborating with sales to translate offer strategy into a customer-specific deal strategy and pricing, facilitating the deal approval process and related governance, and financial modeling of deal economics across a variety of scenarios. This job family is also responsible for validating our contracts have the appropriate terms and conditions prior to finalizing the relationship. Responsibilities Collaborate effectively across functions in Sales, Operations, and Finance to develop pricing strategies and models in response to RFP and customer contract renewals. Extract, manipulate, and prepare data and information from multiple sources and leverage findings to develop and recommend pricing strategies. Create financial models, applying pricing analytics and other financial components related to the deal. Communicate with Senior Leadership to facilitate questions and discussions related to the deal models to gain approval. Communicate key pricing and rebate strategies and recommendations, while driving consensus and being comfortable when challenged. Ability to grasp economic concepts (especially P&L statements), commercial processes, systems, and controls. Manage the execution of a variety of price initiatives and ad‑hoc analysis as needed to support business opportunities. Qualifications 3+ years experience in a related field preferred. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
