Marketing & Analytics Business Analyst

We are seeking a Marketing & Analytics Business Analyst to support enterprise marketing analytics, compliance, and customer insights initiatives. This role will partner closely with Marketing, Analytics, Compliance, Product, and Technology teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and drive delivery of data-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in marketing analytics environments, translating business needs into actionable requirements, supporting Agile teams, and collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Marketing, Compliance, Analytics, and Technology stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements sessions, and solution reviews.
• Support marketing analytics initiatives involving customer insights, campaign performance, reporting, and operational metrics.
• Partner with compliance and governance teams to ensure reporting and analytics solutions meet regulatory and internal control requirements.
• Perform data analysis, process analysis, gap assessments, and requirements traceability activities.
• Manage and prioritize requirements backlog in Agile environments.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Data Engineers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
• Support UAT planning, test execution, defect tracking, and business readiness activities.
• Develop executive-ready documentation, presentations, dashboards, and reporting artifacts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiencies.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• Experience supporting Marketing Analytics, Customer Insights, Campaign Analytics, or related business functions.
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing Agile backlogs.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboarding initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience facilitating workshops and cross-functional discussions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial Services, FinTech, Banking, or regulated industry experience.
• Experience supporting compliance, governance, PCI, SOX, or regulatory initiatives.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Excel, Python, or other analytics tools.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
• Exposure to customer journey analytics, marketing performance measurement, and campaign reporting.

Nice to Have

• Product Owner experience.
• Marketing technology (MarTech) platform exposure.
• Customer segmentation, campaign analytics, or digital marketing reporting experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise data and analytics transformation programs.
