Tactical Operations Lead, MPI

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our tactical operations on the MPI team. As a Tactical Operations Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of payment operations, working closely with our partner banks, and providing exceptional support to our clients. Key Responsibilities Manage fund transfers between accounts, including ACH and wire activity with partner banks Research and resolve failed transactions, and manage refunds and reissues Provide support for MPI payment reporting and customer-level payment validation Support client reconciliation process and manage client escalations and reporting requests Act as a liaison between Payment Specialists and the Development team, submitting and tracking development tickets related to MPI payment processing issues Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, or related field For non-college graduates, a minimum of two years of experience working in payment/banking operations Previous reconciliation experience Strong communication skills High level of attention to detail, quality, and effective verbal and written communication skills along with excellent follow-through Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while successfully meeting established goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Adaptive to frequent process changes, work duties or assignments General skillset to perform/navigate on Microsoft Experience with Excel Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes 100% coverage of employee healthcare premiums and several free benefits, including life insurance, disability insurance and work–life balance resources.
