$15.00 per hour | Monday-Friday

Looking for a stable Monday-Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays? Hospitality Consulting & Supply is seeking a reliable, self-sufficient Prep/Production Cook to help prepare nutritious meals for daycare centers throughout the Philadelphia area.

Responsibilities

·        Weighing, measuring, and portioning food according to recipes and production requirements

·        Preparing and packaging meals for daycare center clients

·        Loading and unloading food items in ovens and monitoring cooking processes

·        Following all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards

·        Proper labeling, dating, and rotation of food products (FIFO)

·        Assisting with CACFP-compliant meal production and meal pattern requirements

·        Receiving, unloading, and putting away deliveries

·        Restocking food, supplies, and packaging materials

·        Washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment

·        Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment

·        Lifting and moving boxes, food products, and supplies as needed

·        Performing other kitchen and food production duties as assigned

Qualifications

·        Previous food service, production kitchen, prep cook, or institutional cooking experience preferred

·        Knowledge of CACFP meal requirements is a plus

·        Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

·        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

·        Dependable, punctual, and organized

·        Ability to regularly lift and carry boxes and supplies

·        Must be able to pass a criminal background check
