About the Position

Job Title: OB Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years in labor and delivery required; OR and triage experience highly desired License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only), Neonatal Resuscitation Must-Have: - RN License (New York only) - Two (2) years of experience - BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) - Neonatal Resuscitation required Description: Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including high, moderate, and low risk. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery. Demonstrate good communication skills. Prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Commit to patient and family-centered care. Complete training in various competencies and modes of care across the OB service. Float among units to meet the variable needs of volume and acuity. It is an ongoing expectation for all OB/GYN nurses to adapt to different situations.
