Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide strategic day-to-day leadership for pharmacy operations in a key healthcare setting, overseeing a team of 24 direct reports. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacy professional ready to maintain operational continuity during a temporary leadership absence.

Responsibilities include managing staffing, optimizing workflow, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding medication safety standards. You will collaborate closely with hospital leadership, including the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, to support high-quality pharmacy services aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license required
• Previous experience in hospital pharmacy leadership essential
• Demonstrated expertise in operational management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with multidisciplinary leadership teams
