Manufacturing Technician

Compensation $20.00 an hour or depending on experience.

Example Responsibilities/ Skillset

• Experience with manufacturing and fabrication machines operations preferred. 
• Experience with plastics manufacturing machinery a plus.
• Reading blueprints and understanding product specifications to correctly set up machinery for manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret schematics and diagrams for assembly and vehicle upfit.
• Adjusting machine settings for optimal performance and product quality.
• Performing basic preventive maintenance on manufacturing machines (a plus)
• Inspecting finished products for quality and specification compliance.
• Recording production data for quality control and reporting purposes.
• Complying with health and safety regulations to prevent workplace accidents.
• Strong proficiency in the use of power and hand tools and precision instruments.
• Experience with forklifts and overhead chain hoists.
• Basic experience in DC electricity a plus.
• Welding experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic math knowledge (add, subtract, multiply) required
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Advanced understanding of manufacturing or assembly processes is a plus
