What You'll Do Assist individuals with goals including independent living activities, personal care, meal preparation, academics, and work readiness. Support individuals in participating in community activities and recreational outings. Implement individualized service plans and behavioral support plans. Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and self-esteem. Ensure the safety and well-being of people supported at all times. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Covid vaccinated. Willingness to complete and become certified in: CPR/First Aid, SCIP-R (crisis management). A big heart, clear communication skills, and a can‑do attitude. Bonus Points 1+ year working with people with developmental disabilities. Experience in residential or health‑related settings. Strong teamwork and documentation skills. Physical & Work Environment This is a hands‑on role—you’re not just watching, you’re doing. You’ll need to be comfortable with lifting, physical care, and active days. You have a strong sense of responsibility and reliability: you care about the people you serve and stay until the next team member arrives.
