Product Demonstrator Part Time

The Associate will complete in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquire and maintain product knowledge, prepare, serve, and break down products, intercept consumers, and maintain a professional appearance. Responsibilities Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product. Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution. Achieve 100% execution on assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports as per Company Policy. Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Access the internet, navigate through company’s electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device, including applications and internal systems. Local food handlers permit may be required. Physical Demands The associate will be regularly required to stand and walk during the shift, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product, prepare foods and beverages using the required appliances including cooking utensils, knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, microwaves, and be in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Work Environment Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance Professional appearance and grooming required; neat, clean, appropriately groomed; specific retailer dress code requirements included in training documents. Language Skills English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity. Compensation Salary range: $13.00 – $13.00 per hour.
