IT Specialist

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Fridays Off) Seeking an experienced IT Specialist to support and maintain the technology infrastructure. This position is responsible for providing technical support across servers, networks, virtualization platforms, disaster recovery systems, end-user computing, and enterprise applications. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys a mix of infrastructure support, systems administration, networking, and customer-facing technical support in a stable and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Provide hardware, software, network, and service desk support to employees Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve server, network, and infrastructure issues Support virtualization platforms, including VMware (preferred) and other virtual environments Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, backup administration, and business continuity initiatives Support Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and other enterprise applications Deploy and configure hardware, software, and endpoint devices Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls Support PBX/VoIP phone systems and networking equipment Maintain documentation, inventory records, and technical procedures Coordinate with vendors and third-party technology partners to resolve issues Required Qualifications 4+ years of IT infrastructure, systems administration, or advanced technical support experience Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and/or Entra ID Experience troubleshooting networking issues, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, switches, and firewalls Experience supporting virtualization technologies Experience with disaster recovery, backup solutions, and business continuity processes Strong customer service and communication skills Valid Florida Driver's License Preferred Qualifications VMware administration experience Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience Experience supporting VoIP/PBX systems Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Experience working in a government, municipality, or highly regulated environment Onsite in Coconut Creek, FL Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Fridays Off Participation in occasional after-hours support and on-call rotation may be required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have a strong infrastructure background with hands-on experience supporting Windows Server environments, VMware virtualization, disaster recovery initiatives, and enterprise applications such as Dynamics 365.
