RN – Med SurgSeven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Level 2 RN Med Surg for an 8-week travel assignment in Willcox, AZ. This role involves working in a supportive medical-surgical environment where you will utilize your expertise and skills to provide high-quality patient care. Our benefits include:License reimbursement – financial support to maintain your professional credentialsReferral program – earn rewards for introducing fellow healthcare professionalsHealth insurance – comprehensive medical coverage for you and your familyCertification reimbursement – assistance with obtaining additional qualificationsWeekly pay – prompt and reliable payments every weekKey responsibilities of the Level 2 RN Med Surg include:Provide general nursing care to patients.Maintain current certifications and licensure as required.Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals on patient care.Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to provide quality care.Explain procedures and treatments to patients to encourage cooperation and understanding.Counsel patients and family members before, during, and after treatment.Educate patients and families on medication use, dosage, and side effects.Respond to inquiries, concerns, and complaints from patients.Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.Place, change, and check catheters as needed.Conduct physical assessments and track input/output as needed.Serve as a patient advocate according to their care plans.Work with equipment, other staff, and devices to safely move or lift patients.Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.Utilize medical pass and medication dispense machines to administer medication.Requirements of the Level 2 RN Med Surg include:Current AZ or Compact RN LicenseBLS, ACLS, and PALS CertificationsA minimum of 3 years of relevant experienceWillcox: Where the Job Meets LifestyleLocated in the scenic region of Arizona, Willcox offers a blend of beautiful landscapes and a welcoming community.
