Social Media Content Creator Create the Content. Tell the Story. Build the Brand. Full-Time | Clifton Park, NY | $24–$30/hour | On-Site + Field Content Trenchless Today is one of the Northeast's fastest-growing trenchless pipe rehabilitation companies, providing innovative underground infrastructure solutions for residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial customers. What we do is unique — and there's a lot worth showing people. Our crews work with specialized equipment, underground infrastructure, robotic technology, pipe rehabilitation systems, and projects most people have never seen before. We're looking for a creative, outgoing Social Media Content Creator who can turn that into content people actually want to watch. This isn't a position where you'll sit behind a desk all day scheduling generic social media posts. We want someone who will grab a camera or phone, head to a jobsite, talk to our crews, recognize a great content opportunity, capture it, edit it, and turn it into a Reel, TikTok, Short, photo series, or post. If you constantly find yourself thinking, "That would make a great video," you might be exactly who we're looking for. What You'll Do Capture photo and video content at jobsites, our office/shop, training sessions, company events, and equipment demonstrations Create and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn Turn raw footage into engaging, polished content Develop hooks, captions, voiceovers, transitions, graphics, and creative concepts Create educational, entertaining, behind-the-scenes, employee-focused, and project-based content Capture before-and-after project transformations Interview technicians and employees for social content Occasionally appear on camera yourself Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar Help manage our social media accounts and posting schedule Stay current on trends, sounds, formats, editing techniques, and platform changes Find appropriate ways to incorporate trends and humor into our industry Track engagement and identify which types of content perform best Organize our photo and video content library Continuously bring new content ideas to the table We're Looking for Someone Who... Is genuinely creative Understands what makes people stop scrolling Can tell a story through video Is comfortable approaching and talking with different personalities Is comfortable behind the camera and occasionally in front of it Doesn't need to be told exactly what to film every day Notices interesting moments and turns them into content Can take an idea from concept → filming → editing → finished post Is organized enough to maintain a consistent posting schedule Understands the difference between content that looks good and content that actually gets attention Can balance professionalism with personality and humor Is comfortable working in both an office and construction/jobsite environment Experience We're Interested In Experience with some combination of: Social media content creation Video editing Short-form video Photography Instagram Reels TikTok YouTube Shorts Facebook LinkedIn Canva CapCut Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or similar editing software Social media analytics Content planning A college degree is not required. We're more interested in what you can actually create. Applicants who provide a portfolio, social media account, Reels, TikToks, YouTube videos, photography, or other examples of previous work will receive priority consideration. You'll regularly travel to local jobsites to capture content, so you should be comfortable being around active construction environments and following required safety procedures.
