Environmental Engineering Supervisor - Leader Job Description AECOM seeks a dual‑role professional responsible for conducting environmental assessments and remediation while managing a team of professionals to ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Technical Serve as a project manager or technical lead on assigned projects. Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance. Deliver high‑quality work, completing projects on time, to the specified quality objectives, and within budget. Resolve complex, novel, and challenging issues that often require the development of new or improved techniques. Apply advanced understanding of engineering concepts, industry knowledge, and technical capabilities. Lead and contribute to the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and interviews to win new projects. Negotiate with clients and California environmental regulatory agencies. Staff Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of environmental engineers. Assign tasks, monitor and provide staff with feedback on performance, and provide professional development opportunities for staff members. Ensure team members follow organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Make sure team members have access to the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed. Act as the primary point of contact, building and maintaining strong, long‑term relationships with clients.
