About the Position JLL is looking to hire an analyst on its Office Investment Advisory Team in San Francisco. This position focuses exclusively on sales, joint ventures, and recapitalizations of office, R&D, and life sciences transactions throughout the Bay Area. Analysts are involved in every stage of a transaction, including underwriting, market research, property tours, preparation of offering materials & BOVs, and client meetings & events. The role requires working full‑time, five days a week, in a high‑energy, team‑focused environment with mentorship from senior members. We are highly motivated to move quickly with the right candidate. Responsibilities Prepare investment sales advisory packages and submissions for commercial real estate transactions, including research, financial modeling, and executive summaries. Conduct complex financial modeling of commercial real estate transactions using Argus and Excel, and use market data and JLL comps to underwrite accurately. Manage the due diligence process and lead marketing and closing activities while maintaining constant communication with the Producer, market, and client. Use databases to identify trend data and prepare pitches and meetings. Review real estate documents (leases, loan documents, appraisals, etc.) to identify issues and recommend solutions. Build a client network within the industry through meetings, events, and real‑estate trade organizations. Participate in weekly office meetings with Producers to discuss deal flow, status, market conditions, and new client leads. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline, or equivalent experience. 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis, investment or commercial banking, private equity, or commercial real estate. Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, strong time‑management and prioritization skills. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing, and communication skills; able to interface with top‑level executives. Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills; ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information. Independent worker with a team‑player attitude. Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Argus, and Word.
