Job Details Lead EH&S at a major Bay Area manufacturing site with full ownership of safety culture and real impact. Salary: $115,000–$150,000 per year plus full benefits. Build and evolve policies, procedures, and programs beyond regulatory minimums. Drive compliance with federal, state (Cal/OSHA), and local regulations, including reporting, audits, and corrective actions. Run risk assessments and audits that identify problems early. Lead incident investigations, perform root‑cause analyses, and close loops with real fixes. Design and deliver engaging training for employees. Partner cross‑functionally with operations, engineering, HR, and maintenance to embed safety into daily operations. Champion continuous improvement by pushing leading indicators, not just lagging ones. What You Bring Several years of progressive EH&S experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; automotive or tier‑1 supplier background is a strong plus. Deep knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and state environmental regulations. A proven track record with compliance reporting, internal/external audits, and closing corrective actions. Influence and presence to connect with operators and senior leaders alike. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience and no degree are encouraged to apply.
