Grant Writing Intern

Internship Summary:

The Grant Writing Intern works directly with the Global Projects Manager on the Advancement Team. This role blends writing and relationship-building: approximately half of the intern's time is spent developing fundraising materials, while the other half is spent collaborating with missionaries and Major Gifts Officers. Early in the internship, the intern will join meetings to identify foundations to pursue, learn about field projects, and plan the writing pieces needed to support donor and foundation engagement. Assignments may include proposals, letters of inquiry, program logic models, project descriptions, and other grant-related materials. This is a fundraising role-not a journalism or general communications position. If you enjoy both writing and connecting with people, then this role is for you!
