A movement for better thinking, smarter solutions and lasting impact.Together, we will advance our way of life and protect the integrity of our environment every step of the way.**A Day in the Life**As an Ambient Field Technician, you’ll get hands-on experience collecting data while spending most of their time outdoors in a hardhat rather than in a cubicleThe compensation range for this role is $24 to $28/hr., commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:* Assist in preparation, deployment, testing/sampling of air monitoring activities* Independently and effectively assemble, operate, and troubleshoot ambient air testing equipment* Ensure project preparation is complete before going into the field; this includes preparation, cleaning procedures, repair, and calibration* Practice safety methods and procedures, and report all potential dangers, hazards, or unsafe work practices to the supervisor* Provide excellent customer service to all clients* Assist with laboratory, shop, and equipment maintenance## **Your Expertise and Skills**These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.* Ability to travel up to 50%* Ability to work in industrial settings & outdoors* High School diploma through bachelor's degree* Valid driver's license* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with proven time management and prioritization skills* Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision* Working knowledge of computer software, such as MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.**Work Environment and Physical Requirements**The physical and environmental requirements below reflect what’s typically needed to perform the essential functions of this role safely and effectively.
