Cardiac Surgeon – Silverdale, Washington Full‑time and PRN opportunities at the Center for Cardiovascular Health (CCH) at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH). The CCH comprises over 180 providers across all cardiovascular specialties and handles more than 1,200 cardiac surgeries and 500 structural cases annually. We are one of the largest providers of cardiac services in Western Washington, with three tertiary‑care sites. We are seeking talented Cardiac Surgeons to join our teams, which provide some of the most advanced treatment options for cardiac conditions with the lowest risk of mortality. Our practice performs all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, aortic surgery, structural heart procedures, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, arrhythmia surgery and mechanical circulatory support. Additionally, we offer comprehensive care for challenging cases such as heart‑failure surgery, redo cardiac surgery, complex aortic surgery, revisional and multi‑valve reconstructions, and septal myectomy. The Seattle program performs more than 400 major cardiac cases annually, has an established ECMO program, and an annual structural heart volume of approximately 200 transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVRs) and 50 Mitraclip procedures. Our team is active in clinical research with several trials in cardiology, structural heart, and cardiac surgery. Cardiac Surgeon – Seattle, Washington Full‑time opportunities. Responsibilities mirror those of the Silverdale position with emphasis on research participation and a broad volume of structural heart interventions. Qualifications MD/DO with completion of an ACGME‑accredited cardiothoracic surgery fellowship. Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult cardiothoracic surgery highly preferred. New graduates with additional training will be considered. Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgeons.
