Job Description

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and develop tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives
• Conduct Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure a well-rounded approach to care
• Provide Education for Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic practices to maintain progress outside of the clinic
• Track Progress and Adapt Treatments: Record clinical results and refine therapy protocols as necessary to maintain effective patient care

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Support for continuing education and additional certifications encouraged

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
