Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN I) – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum – New Mexico

Schedule: 12-hour rotating night shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed with occasional labor call or overtime. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required. Must be able to work in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units.

Requirements:

• Current New Mexico RN license or active Multi-State Compact (eNLC) license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required
• OPS Emergency Workshop and STABLE certification required within 12 months of hire
• SAFER NM Technician certification preferred
• Experience and competency in perinatal care, labor support, delivery, and newborn assessment
• Knowledge of sterile technique and sterile field maintenance
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to provide culturally competent, compassionate care across the lifespan
