Accounting Coordinator | Legends Global The Tone: This is a full-time role at Legends Global, located in Albany, NY. Legends Global is a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, dedicated to providing exceptional experiences. This position is vital to the finance department, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records. The Accounting Coordinator plays a key role in processing and monitoring payments and expenditures, guaranteeing vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits. The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full-time Location: In-person Albany, NY Pay: $24–$27 hourly Team: Finance Department Mission: Ensure financial accuracy, up-to-date records, and timely payments to vendors and suppliers. Tech Stack: D365, ADP What You’ll Actually Do Invoice Processing: Process all invoices for payment, ensuring approval processes are consistently maintained for both the MVP Arena and MVP Arena Garage. Billing & Reconciliation: Prepare Accounts Receivable invoices for customer billing and reconcile monthly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Aging Reports with the Trial Balance. Financial Documentation: Ensure proper documentation backup, accurate General Ledger coding, and correct routing of invoices to the appropriate departments for approval. Payment Execution: Process check runs on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or as-needed basis to manage expenditures. Month-End Activities: Prepare monthly closing journal entries for accrued expenses and contribute to the preparation and filing of annual reports. The Must-Haves Background: Associate’s degree in accounting or finance, demonstrating foundational knowledge in financial operations. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts payable or a related accounting role is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Skills: Knowledge of general and cost accounting principles, excellent math skills with a high aptitude for numerical data, strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities, and the capacity to handle highly confidential information.
