General Foreman

We're hiring a Plant Foreman to join County Prestress in Astatula, FL. Job Summary The Plant Foreman is a working position leading a crew of hourly team members. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and managing production efficiency with company standards and vision. Job Duties & Responsibilities Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of production workers and equipment operators, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Monitors work schedules, allocating labor resources effectively, and ensuring that production goals are met without compromising quality. Enforce safety regulations and best practices alongside company policies; this is a critical duty. Regularly inspect equipment, machinery, and tools. Trains new hires and existing staff on operational procedures and safety protocols, fostering a skilled and cohesive team. Investigates and resolves production issues, including workflow bottlenecks. Effectively communicates production status and equipment integrity to management. Assists or fills in for the production team as needed; tasks may be as follows: Performs general manual labor tasks, including cleaning, shoveling, loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials Strong leadership capabilities are necessary to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for coordinating team members and reporting to management.
