Vice President, Wealth Management Chief Data OfficeThe Wealth Management (WM) Chief Data Office (CDO) sits within the WM Risk organization and manages cyber, fraud, and data-related risks. WM CDO seeks a Vice President to support a global team with achieving its risk objectives and demonstrating its value add to Morgan Stanley.This individual will manage a team that is responsible for engagement with clients and financial advisors on cybersecurity and fraud-related matters. They will also support WM's Chief Data Officer with a wide variety of administrative and operational tasks. These tasks include managing the annual budgeting cycle, supporting resourcing/hiring needs, overseeing space management, and leading talent development, mentorship programs, and other special projects benefitting WM CDO.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Overseeing a team that coordinates engagements between WM CDO Subject Matter Experts with High Net Worth clients/prospects and financial advisors to support business development activities or assist with incident responseManaging administrative staff who support WM CDO Managing Directors with scheduling, travel, and expense managementManaging WM CDO's overall non-comp budget (e.g., consulting, travel, training, etc.)Supporting hiring managers in their recruitment activities and providing leadership with transparency and insight into the hiring pipeline and key personnel data pointsEnsuring new hires understand the WM CDO mission/vision and the role they will play in advancing itFacilitating touchpoints, communications, and other initiatives that ensure WM CDO team members are driving toward shared objectives (e.g., Monthly All Hands Series, Quarterly New Joiners Series, Bi-Monthly Newsletter, annual goal setting, etc.)Working with SMEs and content producers to maintain and disseminate educational and marketing materials to help clients/prospects and advisors reduce their data security and/or fraud riskMaintaining team-related documentation, such as organizational charts, onboarding curriculum, job descriptions, etc.Driving WM CDO's mentorship program to help team members grow their network within CDO and achieve their career goalsQualifications:Bachelor's degree7-12 years of relevant experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organizationA strong customer service orientationPrior management experienceExceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skillsAbility to independently execute on multiple, simultaneous workstreams and exhibit strong attention to detailExpertise in office productivity software, data analysis, and collaboration toolsPreferred QualificationsPrior business development or client engagement responsibilitiesKnowledge of the financial services industry; preferably in wealth management, finance, operations, or technologyWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
