Industrial Maintenance TechnicianHiFyve is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing & Energy industry in Claremont, MN! Salary: $27 - $33 an hour. Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Location: Claremont, MN.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on mechanical and process equipment.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using schematics, technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and diagnostic tools.Maintain and repair equipment including dryers, conveyors, pumps, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical systems.Assist with the repair and maintenance of process-related equipment to minimize downtime and maintain continuous plant operations.Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, service logs, and inspection documentation.Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and support efficient plant operations.Operate company vehicles for maintenance-related tasks while following all safety protocols.Assist with facility upgrades, modifications, and construction-related maintenance projects as needed.Follow all company safety procedures when working around moving mechanical parts, machinery, confined spaces, heights, and other industrial hazards.Communicate technical information clearly with team members and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or a related field is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProven experience in industrial maintenance, service technician work, or process mechanical systems repair.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with complex industrial machinery.Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings.Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance inventory management is preferred.Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, and process equipment is preferred.Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate company vehicles.Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.Ability to lift and move items up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, climbing, and balancing.Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.Ability to work around odors, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, moving mechanical parts, noise, and varying outdoor weather conditions.
