Description Position at Blue Springs Animal Hospital Client Service Representative – Veterinary Receptionist is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our AAHA-accredited hospital in Blue Springs, MO . CSRs are valuable members of our veterinary team, and we treat them as such. As a CSR, you will be the client’s first and last impression of Blue Springs. It’s important that all clients feel welcome, safe, and comfortable which is why it takes a special person who can engage with both humans and animals alike with compassion, patience and understanding. The primary responsibility of a CSR is to be efficient in front desk operations while effectively bridging communication between pet owners and our veterinary team. Our facility boasts a state-of-the-art 12,000 sq ft space equipped with advanced technology and resources to provide orthopedic procedures, ultrasound, echocardiography, video endoscopy, digital radiography, chemotherapy, canine reproduction services and beyond. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Greet and welcome each visitor and assess their needs Handle incoming phone calls/emails and determine the urgency Perform client check-ins and check-outs, including reviewing invoices Communicate visit expectations to clients, assist owners with pet management to minimize unsafe situations and client’s stress Process and document financial transactions accurately Schedule appointments based on client expectations, patient medical requirements and clinic needs Manage emergency situations and walk-ins Respond to online requests for products, prescriptions or client questions in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness in the lobby areas, exam rooms, and general stocking of client or patient areas Recommend products available to clients through our facilities Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required At least one year of customer service experience required Experience as a doctor’s assistant is a bonus (in human or veterinary medicine) General computer skills and ability to learn multiple programs Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively Team player, have patience and maintain a positive attitude Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds Benefits and Perks Paid time-off inclusive of sick, personal and vacation 401K with 100% company match up to 3% and 50% company match up to 5%, eligible after 6 months of employment Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance Plans with multiple options Employer-paid Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance Long-Term Disability option Company-sponsored Employee Assistance Program (Headspace) Progyny-Fertility and Family Building Support LGBTQIA+ support with FOLX HEALTHCARE Sword Digital Musculoskeletal & Physical Therapy Program Referral Bonus Program DailyPay on Demand Employee Discounts for Pet Care #J-18808-Ljbffr United Veterinary Care
