Scheduled shift hours are 8:00 AM–6:00 PM. Each scheduled shift is 10 hours. Weekend availability is required. Ongoing client care is needed. Caregivers must be able to arrive on time and remain for their entire accepted shift. Additional client assignments may be available based on qualifications and scheduling compatibility. Applicants should be comfortable assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and other routine activities of daily living.MOBILITY ASSISTANCE, TRANSFERS, AND FALL PREVENTIONEXPERIENCE WITH SAFE MOBILITY AND TRANSFER ASSISTANCE IS HIGHLY VALUED. The selected caregiver must demonstrate sound judgment, patience, appropriate physical assistance techniques, and a commitment to preventing injuries. Responsibilities may include: Assisting the client with walking and balance. Providing appropriate support during movement. Helping the client safely enter and exit beds. Assisting with transfers between beds and chairs. Supporting transfers involving wheelchairs or commodes when required. Following individualized mobility instructions. Using approved gait belts when directed and appropriately trained. Assisting with sit-to-stand and stand-to-sit movements. Providing approved one-person transfer assistance. Following two-person transfer requirements when specified. Using Hoyer lifts or mechanical lifts only when required, trained, and authorized. Using slide boards or other approved transfer equipment when directed. Encouraging safe movement and independence. Keeping walking areas free from hazards. Monitoring for dizziness, weakness, unsteadiness, or changes in mobility. Reporting falls, near falls, and safety concerns promptly.SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY. Caregivers must never attempt a transfer they cannot safely complete or operate equipment they have not been properly trained and authorized to use. Preferred experience includes: Gait belt assistance Hoyer lifts Mechanical lifts Transfer boards or slide boards Wheelchair transfers Clients with limited mobility High fall-risk clients Safe body mechanics and transfer techniques Experience with specialized transfer equipment is preferred but not required for consideration. Caregivers should help maintain a pleasant mealtime environment while respecting the client's nutritional needs, preferences, and prescribed restrictions.LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING, LAUNDRY, AND HOME ORGANIZATIONA CLEAN, SAFE, AND ORGANIZED HOME IS PART OF QUALITY CARE. Caregivers are expected to complete assigned housekeeping responsibilities during their shifts. Duties may include: Making the client's bed. Changing bed linens. Washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry. Washing dishes. Wiping kitchen countertops and tables. Cleaning frequently touched surfaces. Dusting furniture. Sweeping and vacuuming floors. Mopping approved areas. Cleaning the client's bathroom. Emptying trash. Organizing personal belongings. Keeping clothing and care supplies organized. Returning items to their designated locations. Maintaining clear walking pathways. Reporting household safety concerns. Caregivers are expected to take initiative and complete assigned housekeeping responsibilities without repeated reminders. Housekeeping duties must remain within the approved care plan, and client supervision and personal care must always take priority.MEDICATION REMINDERS AND NON-MEDICAL HEALTH SUPPORT Helping Hearts USA LLC provides non-medical personal care and support services. Depending on the approved care plan, caregiver responsibilities may include: Providing scheduled medication reminders. Documenting medication reminders and client responses. Reporting medication refusals or missed doses. Observing changes in physical condition. Monitoring client comfort and well-being. Reporting pain, swelling, bruising, redness, or visible skin concerns. Monitoring changes in mobility and balance. Reporting falls, injuries, or unusual symptoms. Encouraging appropriate nutrition and hydration. Following established emergency procedures. Communicating significant concerns promptly to Operations. Caregivers must remain within their authorized role and follow all company policies and applicable requirements.
