Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather information about patients’ trauma history and formulate tailored treatment options.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to promote trauma recovery, resilience, and emotional well-being.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, aiding patients in processing traumatic experiences, cultivating coping strategies, and fostering healing. For example, group therapy may encompass discussions designed to help participants share their experiences in a supportive setting.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary health professionals to ensure a seamless, integrated approach to patient care, contributing to overall treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, developing appropriate immediate response strategies.

• Educate patients and their support systems about trauma responses, coping techniques, and resources available to assist in their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working directly with a diverse group of patients primarily impacted by various forms of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LPC/MHSP, LP, or LMFT within the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred, demonstrating a commitment to trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
