Key Responsibilities\n

In your role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to discern patients' trauma histories and to tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, taking into consideration each patient's unique experiences and needs.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping resources to enhance their understanding of the recovery process.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation that aligns with both legal and ethical standards.

• Engaging in regular case consultations and participating in professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Keeping current with the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary clientele comprises individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, which often manifest through anxiety, depression, and other related mental health issues. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach that fosters trust and openness with clients.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology to facilitate efficient client care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this role is between $90,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
