This full-time, remote position will focus on providing specialized mental health care to individuals dealing with the effects of trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex trauma. Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting through our telehealth facility, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your home while maintaining a work-life balance. Your work schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to meet the specific needs of our patients. Regular video check-ins and team meetings will be conducted to foster collaboration and support within our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments that identify patients' histories and formulate tailored treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring each therapeutic approach aligns with the individual needs of patients.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, where patients can safely explore their trauma experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and build resilience in a supportive communal environment.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate integrated care that holistically addresses patients' needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support strategies during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring prompt care and attention to critical situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, equipping them with knowledge and resources to aid in the recovery process.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in case consultations, team meetings, and specialized training focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continuously enhance your practice and the treatment offered.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving individuals affected by a range of trauma-related disorders, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Through your work, you will support clients in understanding and processing their experiences while fostering an environment where they can develop effective coping mechanisms and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Oregon.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a nonjudgmental and compassionate approach to patient care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications relevant to mental health practice.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in providing trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
