Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine the appropriate course of treatment.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, utilizing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to share their experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated and comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention support to patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate needs are met with empathy and expertise.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to foster a better understanding of their journey.

• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and innovative treatment approaches in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing the effects of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complicated grief, and other trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities for trauma recovery.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting that focuses on trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
