Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to build a foundational understanding of their needs.

• Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions that integrate identified needs and therapeutic goals.
\n
• Meticulously complete documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, within established timelines.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans aimed at helping clients maintain stable functioning.
\n
• Create effective discharge plans to ensure successful transitions for clients completing therapy.
\n
• Adhere strictly to all current federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, alongside the internal policies and procedures of Genworth Counseling Center.
\n
• Continuously enhance your professional competence and counseling skills through ongoing training and continuing education opportunities.
\n
• Engage in case consultations and participate in agency meetings to foster collaboration and support within the team.
\n
• Complete all licensure and mandatory training requirements promptly.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our emphasis on culturally competent practice ensures that you will provide care that is sensitive to the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client, fostering a therapeutic environment where they feel safe and understood.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field resulting in eligibility for licensure.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the State of Nevada is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a telehealth counseling environment is an asset.

• Experience working with diverse populations and addressing a variety of mental health issues.

• Strong organizational skills, combined with the ability to manage documentation and client records efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
