Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting through telehealth, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home while contributing to their mental health and wellness. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be required based on individual client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine clients' history and identify personalized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience enhancement, utilizing research-backed methodologies.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in individual and group therapy formats.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that allow clients to process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and make strides toward emotional healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other health professionals, including psychiatrists, to coordinate integrated care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related situations, ensuring timely and effective responses to client needs.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, resilience strategies, and community resources to promote informed mental health management.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Engage in case consultations and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed approaches, contributing actively to team discussions.

• Stay informed on the latest research developments in trauma therapy to provide high-quality care and innovative treatment solutions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a key member of our clinical team, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced trauma. This population may include survivors of abuse, neglect, natural disasters, or other significant disturbances in their lives. Your work will directly contribute to their healing journey, helping them gain insights and develop strategies to navigate their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure in the state of Nevada as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental disposition.

• Adept at handling high-stress situations calmly and thoughtfully.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital applications.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on trauma and related issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
