Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth preliminary assessments and document comprehensive case histories from initial evaluations through to completion of treatment.
\n
• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to devise personalized therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Develop structured intervention plans tailored to individual, couple, family, and group needs while ensuring alignment with clients’ treatment goals.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to address specific client challenges and promote healing.
\n
• Regularly monitor clients' progress by analyzing data from assessments and session feedback, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance healing outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a range of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers—to provide an integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Follow up with healthcare providers on behalf of clients who have been hospitalized, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
\n
• Promote recovery by identifying behaviors that hinder progress and devising interventions to mitigate those risks.
\n
• Support families and caregivers in understanding and managing mental behavioral challenges impacting their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of clients experiencing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. You will engage with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures, providing an inclusive and sensitive approach to mental health counseling that respects and addresses their unique life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LCPC in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with a proven track record in effective therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, ideally with experience using AVATAR.
\n
• Experience managing clients with concurrent physical and emotional health challenges, including addiction disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Understanding of the impact of medications commonly prescribed for mental health issues.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities allowing for empathy-driven client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with annual earnings between USD 80,000 and 100,000, plus the possibility of a sign-on bonus. Our benefits include:
