Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through structured interviews and standardized assessments to formulate accurate diagnoses.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific client needs, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Engage with clients in both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques to suit a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders.

• Monitor clients’ progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and patient satisfaction.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress, employing strong communication and problem-solving skills during these challenging situations.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Blended Healing Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, adolescents, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your expertise will help individuals struggling with substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and more. You will be asked to deliver culturally competent care that respects and integrates clients' backgrounds and life experiences into the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, or equivalent in the state of Nevada.

• At least four years of direct experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• An understanding of cultural factors in mental health treatment, ensuring therapy is respectful, inclusive, and effective for various populations.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications needed for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
