Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible worksetting through telehealth, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate patient schedules. Our remote infrastructure includes secure telehealth platforms, ensuring privacy and seamless communication between staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the mental health needs and treatment goals of clients seeking support for substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices for addiction recovery.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to facilitate change.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote peer support and shared learning among individuals in recovery.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, discussing treatment progress and modifications as required.

• Offer crisis intervention services during substance-related emergencies, assessing the situation and providing immediate support as needed.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, tailored recovery strategies, and available community resources, fostering an informed support network.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on adults dealing with substance use disorders, encompassing a wide range of challenges—from those in the early stages of recovery to individuals with complex, long-term addiction histories. We emphasize personalized care, ensuring that each client receives tailored support that addresses their specific situation and recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctorate in counseling, social work, or a related field is required.

• Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

• A solid understanding of the principles of substance use disorders and recovery-oriented principles.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathize with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient experience in conducting therapy, both individually and in group settings, geared toward addiction treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
