Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves individuals grappling with substance use disorders, including those facing co-occurring mental health challenges. You will work closely with patients at various stages of their recovery process, helping them establish goals, develop coping strategies, and engage in community support systems. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving their overall mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of California.

• Strong background in substance use disorders, evidenced by knowledge of various treatment modalities and recovery-oriented approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in individual and group therapy within the realm of addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic, non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.
