Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing counselors the flexibility to manage their schedules while providing essential services. Our organization offers a structured workweek of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced approach to work and personal life. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to establish clients’ mental health needs through detailed interviews and evaluations.

• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to clients’ goals, incorporating behavioral therapies and progress monitoring.

• Provide individual therapy, couples therapy, and group counseling to a variety of clients, applying appropriate therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Engage effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Ensure accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Participate in clinical supervision and case conferences to support continuous professional development and knowledge sharing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on clients facing challenges related to substance use, including but not limited to addiction, trauma, emotional crises, and suicidal ideation. You will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with unique barriers to recovery. • A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• An independent LMHC license in New York State is mandatory for application consideration.

Compensation and Benefits\n
